“Wise men talk because they have something to say;
Fools talk because they have to say something.”
No, I didn’t write that. I stole it. Plato. But my friend Lee recently quoted it, and it resonated.
“To realize the strategic goals of the endeavor, the full business case must be evaluated against the inherent risk of expansion beyond the core competencies of the organization”
……. Yeah, I wrote that. About 2000 times, in one form or another. So now, I’m going to try to write again – differently. I don’t need to maintain the sterile objectivity writing style here that I do for most of my business writing, so I will try to keep things nominally entertaining.
I have 20+ years in the IT consulting space. Building companies, developing exceptional teams, positioning services as a product, developing a scaleable operational capacity, and M&A. All that crap. My LinkedIn profile is here.
Politics, religion, second amendment, wrestling, IT consulting, military matters, rural life, suburban life, parenting, well, it’s all fair game and part of what I like blathering on about. So I guess we’ll see if any of it is entertaining, or if I’m just a fool talking because I have to say something…..
